ALD Hungary contributes to the 42 million kilometers yearly mileage of OMSZ fleet

ALD Hungary contributes to the 42 million kilometers yearly mileage of OMSZ fleet

Joining to the fight against the Covid-19 virus epidemic, ALD Hungary provides the National Ambulance Service the usage of three vehicles free of charge from October 2020 aiming to participate in reducing the spread of the epidemic as much as possible during the second wave.

Pál Győrfi, OMSZ - Head of Communication, explains that the offered cars will play an important and useful role in the needed protection due to the epidemic situation. In addition to its basic activity - the performance of rescue tasks - the National Ambulance Service also performs on-site sampling, which means there is a significant need for equipment. The increase in the number of people infected with the coronavirus also steadily increases the number of on-site sampling.

The cars offered by ALD Hungary - as a means of increasing efficiency - support the devoted work of the Ambulance Service by providing the necessary mobility for the delivery of safety equipment, epidemiological sampling and the performance of related tasks.

Each of these vehicles will contribute more than 3,000 kilometers per month to the 42 million kilometers annual mileage of the OMSZ fleet.
