Assistance extension abroad
If your vehicle does not have an assistance service valid abroad, you should request an extension abroad through our Driver Desk line. The ad hoc extension is uniformly for 30 days, but in the case of a longer stay abroad, you can apply for a period of up to 60 or 90 days.
To apply, you must provide our staff with the registration number of your vehicle and the country(ies) of destination. Thanks to the extension, the assistance package concluded for your vehicle will be included in the international register of our assistance partner for the requested period, so we can provide assistance in the countries covered by the service in the event of a technical problem or incident.

It is important to know that in some countries it is not enough to know the above information and to have the documents mentioned. All travelers should also consult the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where you can find important up-to-date information on the requirements for your vehicle and paperwork in your country.
As the requirements of each country may vary depending on the current political and diplomatic situation, our staff may not be able to inform you about the applicable entry and residence conditions. In all cases, please refer to official sources.

You can ask our Driver Desk staff for an extension of assistance for travel abroad or for the replacement of your lost green card. It is advisable to keep the current green card folded in the plastic case of the registration certificate, so it will most likely not need to be replaced again.
In all cases, please notify us of your request for assistance extension and replacement of the green card at least two working days before the start of the trip on firstname.lastname@example.org.
